All Spiritual Blessings

(Ephesians 1:1-3) God doesn't want us to live empty!  He wants us to live a full, overflowing, abundant life.  Ephesians could be described as God "rolling out the red carpet" and introducing us to all the resources we have available in Jesus Christ.  When we recognize our spiritual blessings in Christ we can see the fullness of God, get help for our home, and be empowered to have victory in spiritual battles! (Ephesians 1:1-3) When we think of the blessings of God, our minds often journey to tangible or temporal things.  However, the greatest blessings are spiritual blessings. They meet our deepest needs and outlive this world.  Let's consider the origin, nature, intent, and duration of ALL spiritual blessings as we begin this study in the book of Ephesians. Jude finished well and so can you. The Lord did not call you to start the race; He called you to finish it! Live every moment like the next one you could see Jesus face to face.

Do you want others to believe on Christ? Then you must believe that God can use you to reach them. God's people must demonstrate true faith in a world characterized by unbelief.

Love the Lord. Love souls. Love truth. And hate evil. As we labor in a sinful world we must always guard against the sin that creeps into our own lives. Only holy Christians can be effective witnesses.

When it comes to salvation, people need the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Do not be afraid to talk about eternity and to warn others about hell. The fear of God is the first step to bringing many to Jesus.

We are not simply to stay right with God ourselves, we are called to take God to a world that has gone wrong. Only the love of God can cut through a hateful world, harsh circumstances, and hard hearts. In one verse God tells us how we can make a difference!

As you obey the Lord you can always depend on the Lord to do His part. Take this definite Bible promise for yourself. It will increase your faith and strengthen your courage.

Thank God that in evil days we are kept by God. There are a few things that the Lord expects us to keep. Find out what they are and you will be able to "keep on keeping on" until the end.

Do not despair! In a world that seems out of control the Lord gives specific things that God's people can do. Listen to His commands and take action today.
