What Jesus Taught About the Holy Spirit

(Acts 1:8; 26:15-18) Today we finish our study on what Jesus taught about the Holy Spirit. As we’ve studied, we’ve learned that every Believer needs the Spirit of God to live a victorious Christian life. When the Holy Spirit comes into your life, He comes to accomplish His purpose, and He grants you power to be a witness to others. (06258221028) 

(Acts 1:3-8) God has two types of power, the one you cannot have and the one you cannot miss. While we cannot hold the power of perfect knowledge, we have a power that comes through the enabling of the Holy Spirit. He grants us this gift so that we can use it to glorify Him. (06257221027) 

(Acts 1:8) There is no power on earth like the power of Almighty God! In Acts, Christ reminds the disciples that when the Holy Spirit comes they will have power— we have that same promise. Depend on the Spirit and draw from His enabling today.     (06256221026) 

(John 17:13) Come with us as we learn six ways the Holy Spirit teaches us to rejoice. If you want joy today, you need the Word today! Spend time alone with the Lord in Scripture; it will nourish your soul.  (06255221025) 

(John 16:23-24) Do you want to have your prayers answered? The key is the Holy Spirit! The Spirit gives us the ability to pray and teaches us how we ought to pray. As we follow His promptings we will know the joy of definite answers to prayer. (06254221024) 

(John 14:17-28; 15:10-11; 16:19-22) Jesus’ joy works in the valley just as it does on the mountaintop. Whatever season you’re in Christ offers, through the Holy Spirit, His joy every step of the way. Lasting joy is ahead and literal joy is available now!  (06252221021) 

(John 14:1; 16:33) True joy comes only through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. While happiness is contingent on circumstances, joy is dependent on Who is living within us! As you yield to the Lord Jesus and are filled with His Spirit, you will find true and lasting joy. (06251221020) 

(John 16:14-15) Are you a Spirit-filled person? One mark of the Holy Spirit is that He always lifts up Christ, the same should go for our lives. The more we are filled with Him, the more we should want to talk about Jesus. (06250221019) 

In this study, we learn that the Holy Spirit is the Guide for our lives! The Holy Spirit wants to guide your life in every age, but are you ready and willing to follow Him today? 

The same Holy Spirit who worked in the inspiration of Scripture now works in the illumination of Scripture. As we study John 16, Jesus explains how the Holy Spirit opens God's Word to us.
