Family Time

We are not in this battle alone! All of us need the Lord and we need one another. Discover the marks of a good fellow soldier and determine to be a good soldier of Jesus Christ who looks out for others in this fight.

Yes, we have an adversary. Yes, we have the victory. In this study we look at both the deceit and the defeat of Satan. Take heart! The war will be over soon and all of the soldiers will be at the victory celebration.

Satan will take any place you give him, but he deserves no place in the life of the believer. One stronghold in your life will become a beachhead from which he launches his attacks. Refuse to give any ground to the enemy.

If you are going to win the battle you have to know your enemy. The Devil is real and his chief desire is to destroy man and hurt God. Be aware and be alert!

Three times in Ephesians 6 we find the little word "all" as it relates to prayer. Each is a special encouragement and instruction to keep on praying. The answer is on the way.

Front lines warriors must receive constant reinforcement and replenishment from headquarters. The Lord has established a prayer line that is always open to supply every need. Learn to pray and you will be ready to fight.

From head to toe God gives us what we need to conquer. We are to be armed with the Word - the Word in our minds, in our hands, and on our feet. Arm yourself with the Word of God!

The only way to stand strong and the only way to advance steadily is with good shoes. For the good soldier of Jesus Christ this means the gospel must have its proper place in our lives. Prepare yourself to carry the good news to others!
