In this message from 1 Peter 5, Scott Pauley preaches on the often-overlooked word "after." God frequently unsettles our lives to ultimately settle our souls. This is why God's people must discover the importance of casting our cares upon Him and the significance of enduring life's challenges in the grace of God. God's greatest work often follows our greatest trials.
God will use the "after," and that divine order is illustrated vividly in the lives of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, Esther, David, Mary, Saul/Paul, Peter, and John. You find the same pattern all throughout church history from Hudson Taylor to many other great Christians.
This message was preached at Temple Baptist Church on June 5, 2011.
